UltimateTravelMagazine.com Changes Hands And Other News

For almost 15 years, UltimateTravelMagazine.com has been showcasing the best of premium and luxury couples’ travel to a growing audience of travel fans in Australia and beyond. Originally founded in 2007 by Joanna and Ben Hall of Seahorse Media, the website offers a wide range of topical information, experiential stories, reviews and practical advice, along with “ultimate” experiences aimed at discerning travellers who want to explore the world in style yet appreciate value for money. 

In June 2021 UltimateTravelMagazine.com changed hands. It is now owned by Pragmacus Pty Ltd, an Australian-owned and based company which also has a longstanding wholesale travel business, Pack Ya Bags Australia (www.packyabags.com.au), offering popular, unique, unusual and hard to get products and services from around the world. We are combining a genuine passion for travel with a commitment to uphold UltimateTravelMagazine.com's founding aim. That is to inform and inspire those who travel for pleasure and romance, whether they’re looking to get away from it all at a luxury resort, or are seeking a rich, cultural experience somewhere off the beaten track. 

As many of us love travel, staying at home has never been a top priority. However, in this time of uncertainty we are all staying local, following government guidelines and saving lives, and we’ll venture further afield again when we’ve overcome the current pandemic. In the meantime we have much to look forward to, including the restart of our e-newsletter, UltimateTravelMagazine.com's 15th birthday celebrations in 2022, expanding reviews and content to cover more international locations, and exploring sustainable travel, adventure travel and local cultural experiences.
