Road Test

At some point in your life you will experience pain, from too many gym or yoga sessions, or because of an injury, a stress headache, or simply getting older. Pain of any kind can be seriously debilitating, especially if chronic, and if you travel it makes life all the more difficult. For my part I have travelled in the past with injuries including tennis elbow, and I’ve picked up injuries on the road, such as pulling a muscle while trying to retrieve my suitcase from an airport carousel. In the past I’d just have to suffer, but now I won’t leave home without my PainPod 3. Dubbed a "portable physiotherapist" that you can take anywhere, the PainPod is a pocket-sized device which harnesses the body’s bioelectrical system to moderate and manage pain. It’s completely drug free, and works by delivering bio-electrical nerve stimulation pulses through the skin to the nerve endings in the affected area, blocking pain signals from travelling to the brain. There are a range of devices and accessories for different applications, including some specifically designed for hands and feet, but the PainPod 3 has remained top of the company’s bestseller list since it first launched a few years ago. The PainPod 3 has no less than 12 treatment types to choose from, along with 20 intensity settings. It’s also a 3-in-1 device, not only blocking pain but also accelerating recovery and increasing performance levels. Using the PainPod 3 is easy. It comes with a selection of pads of various sizes which you place on the area you need to treat, then you switch it on, choose the desired setting and intensity, and let the device do its work. One tip is to start out with a low setting to get used to the sensation first, then increase as necessary and build on intensity with ongoing sessions. The feeling you experience is similar to beauty treatments of days gone by which promise to tone up flabby muscles; it ranges from a gentle tingling to quite intense stimulation. Although you might ache a bit during the treatment, afterwards the affected muscles will feel recharged, and better. The PainPod is an ideal travel companion, especially for anyone with ongoing pain, as you can use the device sitting on a plane or relaxing by the pool, and it’s small enough to transport in a handbag or carry on bag. Targeting a variety of different types of pain, the PainPod 3 provides relief while being a convenient, easy-to-use and drug-free solution. For anyone with ongoing pain, especially when you travel, it’s a godsend.

Just to say thanks for the recommendation, I bought one of these last year after reading about it on your website and it sorted out my husband's persistent bad back and my fourth dose of tennis elbow! It's expensive kit but it works :)
