Being completely honest I hadn’t until a few weeks back, even though the company is 95 years old this year! It was founded by a Dutch chemist, Jan Keune, who developed an innovative formula for a liquid perm. I was recently sent a couple of products to test, which are ideal for either prepping your hair before you travel, or treating your hair while you are away to sooth away any damage caused by too much sun or other external factors. Keune Repair Shampoo and Conditioner, both of which cost just rrp $18.95 (for 250ml/200ml), aim to improve the condition of dry and damaged hair, returning strength, shine, softness and overall regained vitality. Both products contain organic Argan Oil, a key ingredient which gently cleanses, conditions and strengthens your locks, while panthenol controls moisture balance, and polymers help to keep it easy to brush or comb. Both the shampoo and conditioner have a lovely, light fragrance; the shampoo lathers easy and feels rich, while the condition is easy to push through wet hair, washing out easily. After using, my hair was soft and shiny, and perhaps even a little easier to blow dry. This is a duo of hair treats are well suited for daily use, which is ideal for anyone on holiday who might be spending their days in the ocean, or a swimming pool kicking back. No damage to worry about, just glossy, healthy hair.
