When the first Classique fragrance was launched back in 1993, fashionistas and fragrance lovers alike were thrilled that they were finally able to wear and enjoy a little touch of Jean Paul Gaultier’s magic and mischief. The designer, who hails from a southern Parisian suburb, says that fragrance is always be the first thing our skin puts on, and from the moment Classique was unveiled, complete with a curvaceous, corseted bottle embracing the concept of femininity being both strong and generous, it was a massive hit. Fast forward to 2019, and JPG’s Classique Cabaret has debuted again in a limited edition. This new version of the original combines a sexy, spicy Oriental fragrance with a striking bottle featuring Gaultier's female silhouette wearing bright red, sparkly dress, inspired by the world of cabaret in the 1940s. If the dazzling red bottle doesn’t catch your attention, the sweet and delicious scent will. Classique Cabaret is warm and atmospheric, with top notes of ginger, middle notes of orange blossom, and base notes of ambergris and vanilla, all of which combine perfectly to create a fragrance which is delicate yet bold, while also being feminine and alluring.
