Coming up on 20 years ago, Chey Birch, the founder of Black Chicken Remedies, was living in Bondi 2000 and having problems with irritated skin and sinus issues. Nothing she used was helping, and after seeing a naturopath, she took a long look at the toxins she was unknowingly consuming, and began blending her own essential oils and therapeutic botanical extracts to create a natural remedy for her condition. Black Chicken Remedies also has a range of pocket sized inhalers for people on the go, and new to the lineup is De-Stress Nasalette Essential Oil Inhaler. It contains essential oils including lemongrass, peppermint, and sweet orange which work together to de-stress and relax the mind. To use, place the personal inhaler tip just below your nostril, close off the other nostril with one finger, slowly inhale to a count of five, slowly exhale, and then repeat with the other nostril. You can do this several times, every two to three hours. Another bestseller is Axilla Natural Deodorant Paste, formulated with a unique blend of natural and organic ingredients to target and neutralise odour without harmful chemicals or sweat blockers. For anyone who’s concerned about the chemicals in traditional deodorants, this paste is free from aluminium salts, alcohol, parabens, and other harmful chemicals.
