I’ve always been a person who travels pretty light, and can pair my toiletries and beauty products down to things I can share with hubby, things that multitask, and essentials which cover both day and night wear. But the new Galentine’s collection from Berlei, which hit the market at the end of January to celebrate Valentine’s Day and Galentine’s Day, doesn’t sacrifice anything at all. The new collection is pretty, feminine and confident, and it offers choices in both colours and styles for women of all shapes and sizes. Fabrics include luxury laces and sheer mesh, colours include rich reds fun florals, and comfort options include everything from underwire and wire-free to padded and non-padded. Whatever your bust size and preference, this range will have something to suit. I was sent a gorgeous Barely There print bra with matching high-cut micro briefs to road test, and can confirm that both not only felt super comfortable to wear, but also looked great. The fabric is predominantly black and dotted with flowers in different shapes and hues including red, blue and orange. It’s also super soft, smooth and stretchy, making it easy to fit as well as feeling cosy against the skin. In terms of design features, some of the key ones in the bra include underwires to lift and shape, moulded cups which make the bra invisible under T-shirts and tight clothing, and self covered comfort straps which provide you with a great shape and offers maximum support. There’s also a double layered back and padded hook and eye which minimise dig.
