Vitamin C has been a staple in my beauty regime for years for a simple reason; it does what it promises, brightening the skin and fading any pigmentation being just two of its lineup of benefits. The Australian cosmetic company, USPA, has a new power packed serum ideal for travellers who love using vitamin C, Pure C Complex Serum With Vitamin C. And having used it for the last three weeks, I can see it has made a real difference to the softness, feel and look of my skin. To use it, apply a small amount using your fingertips each morning after cleansing, and gently massage into the skin all over face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Then follow with a hydrating moisturiser, and if you’re going outside, some SPF protection. One of the major problems with vitamin C products in skin care is keeping them stable, meaning they don’t “go off”, and lose their potency too quickly. USPA solves this issue with this serum by using Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate 5% as its key ingredient, a stable, oil soluble form of Vitamin C which also has superior skin penetration, and reduces pigmentation by inhibiting melanin production.
