Road Test

There are many options when it comes to sunscreen protection today, but Invisible Zinc as usual has covered all bases when it comes to its new SPF30 Facial Moisturiser. The reason why? This nifty product, which is even suitable for sensitive skins, is a three in one product. It is a daily facial moisturiser combined with high performance sunscreen protection using SPF30 and zinc oxide, which forms an invisible film to create a barrier between the skin and the environment. The formula contains mineral reflectors to deflect UV light, and it helps to neutralise environmental agents including pollution, chemicals and smoke. What I really like about this product, however, is that it actually feels like a moisturiser; it’s non-greasy, and melts into the skin to wear alone, or before applying makeup. And it’s neutral aroma means that guys can use it too, which saves on packing if you are travelling. I tested it at the end of winter on the Gold Coast, on an unusually chilly but dry afternoon on a long beach walk. What I discovered is that if you are just out and about and want sun protection, rather than doing some serious sunbathing, it’s ideal, and it protects against all the elements including the wind. After about five hours outside, my skin was still protected, and it wasn’t dry or tight after I got home. It's a must for anyone who loves multitasking products!

Beauty In Travel Loves

  • The moisturiser has a neutral smell, and soaks into the skin easily.
  • You can use it on its own or under makeup.
  • It is great for sensitive skins.
  • It comes in a lightweight pump container ideal for travelling.

Insider Tips

  • If you are using it on its own, and outdoors for a long time, reapply regularly to top up protection.
  • A little goes a long way, so don’t use too much initially.
  • Add a little creamy makeup and blend, to create a personalised tinted moisturiser with sun protection!

Been using this brand for a long time, love it! Prefer the tinted sunscreens as you don't need makeup.

    Whiteness

My hubby and I both use this when we go out walking and we really like it but it does leave a bit of a whiteness residue on the skin which is hard to blend in. My only complaint.
