I reviewed my first Face Halo product a few months ago, a reusable makeup remover which not only replaces up to 500 makeup wipes, making it great for travellers, but also quickly and effectively removes makeup, sweat and sunscreen from your face. It’s a beauty essential which received rave reviews all round, and has since cultivated a well-earned cult following. The key to its success are the HaloTech fibers its made from, which are 100 times finer than human hair, which not only cleanse effectively using just water, but they also very gently exfoliate too. They’re especially great anyone with skin sensitivity, or who finds scrubs or chemical exfoliants too harsh, and they’re super convenient for travellers as they can be reused. Following Face Halo’s terrific success it was natural that a product for the body would likely follow. It did, launching recently, and to equally rave reviews. Face Halo Body is essentially the same as Face Halo, but a much larger, two sided mitt which slips over your hand; one side is adorned with those lovely HaloTech fibers, and the other with a slightly coarser finish for deeper exfoliation. Use the product is easy. For full exfoliation you use the coarser side of the mitt to gently massage the skin wet or dry, eliminating rough or dry areas. To polish the skin, or for a more gentle exfoliation, just add water to the soft side of the mitt, wring out the excess and wipe your skin without rubbing or scrubbing hard. You don’t need to use any products. Face Halo Body is reusable, and you keep it fresh and ready to use again and again by simply hand washing it in warm water and hanging it out to dry, or by adding it to a machine wash with similar colours. I added mind to my towels in the wash each week and it emerged perfect every time. Try one and you’ll see why it’s also going to become a cult hit with beauty lovers.
