One simple way to do this is to take a washable marker, a lipstick, a piece of soap, or a crayon, then stand at arm’s length in front of a mirror. Trying not to let your hand stray too much, trace the outline of your face on the mirror’s surface following your reflection, starting at the point of your chin at the bottom, and ending at at your hairline at the top. Square
If you have a square face, your jaws, cheeks and forehead will have sharply defined angles, and your face won’t taper, or narrow significantly towards the bottom.
