    Kiwi Collins 5 Star Review

This recipe reminds me of Australia/New Zealand because of the kiwi in its title!

    1 kiwi, peeled and chopped
    2 oz Rendle’s Original Gin
¾ oz Simple Syrup (recipe follows)
    ½ oz lemon juice
4 to 5 oz soda water or sparkling water.
    Kiwi slice and lemon slice

    DIRECTIONS
Place chopped kiwi in a cocktail shaker along with gin, syrup lemon juice.
Fill shaker three-quarters full with ice. Vigorously shake until chilled. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into an ice-filled Collins glass. Top with soda water.
Cut a thin slit into kiwi and lemon slice. Twist slices together and skewer as a garnish.

    Makes 1 cocktail

    Simple Syrup

Bring 1 cup (250 mL) water to a boil. Stir in 1 cup (250 mL) granulated sugar. When sugar has dissolved completely, cool syrup. Store in an airtight jar for up to 1 week.

Christmas Bell Gin 4 Star Review

Well this is the first time I have heard of this. Must be kept out of the hands of child and animal, they won't know what hit them.

The gin cocktail that I can connect something to is the
Singapore Sling and Bahamas. There was no drinking
age and I was 15. That is all I will say.
