I am eating chocolate a tad guiltily as I write this blog, which will focus on Sabah. Our lovely Swedish stewardess, Moa, leaves beautifully wrapped squares of different kinds our pillows every night, but so far we have eaten few of them.

Seabourn Odyssey World Cruise - Port of Brunei

We are a little weary today after a bit of a late night….Barry Hopkins, Odyssey's effervescent cruise director, performed a fabulous one-man show paying tribute to the late great Frank Sinatra.

A port day on the Indonesian island of Bali on board the Seabourn Odyssey.

It was a super hot day as Darwin loomed in the distance beyond Odyssey's bows, but amazingly the sky was blue and almost cloudless - the "big wet" appeared to be over.

We're steaming through the Arafura Sea towards Darwin, pretty much at full speed (19 knots). At noon, Captain Mark informed us that we were passing through a cold front, which in these parts means it drops the outside temperature to a balmy 30 degrees C!
