The Noosa International Food & Wine Festival 2012 will open with a unique Gala Concert and Dinner. The Cook, The Chef and The Orchestra will feature Australian food icons Maggie Beer and Simon Bryant with the Queensland Arts Orchestra.

Delicious sights and smells will stimulate your senses as Maggie and Simon chop, blend, whisk and cook on stage in time with your musical favourites performed by the orchestra under the baton of musical funnyman Guy Noble. This will be a one-off outdoor event guaranteed to whet the appetite of food and music lovers alike.

Queen of the Flute, Jane Rutter, will add to the magic of the evening. The evening includes pre-dinner drinks and canapés with the performers, reserved undercover seating for the musical performance, followed by a grand sit-down dinner with matching wines in the hospitality pavilions.
