Gimme Brow

If you're anything like me when you travel, you pair down the amount of products you pack to use. Sometimes it's because you're not away for long anyway, or the weight of your luggage can be an issue, especially carryon with airlines if you choose, or have to, travel budget. Sometimes, however, it's just easier not to have too much fuss, and take multitasking or easy-to-use products instead, or products which come in small sizes or are disposable.

When it comes to brows, I recently got to try this one from the cult US cosmetic bran Benefit. Called Gimme Brow, it's an easy use fibre brow gel, which sticks to your skin and hairs, creating brows where there are none; in my case from a foolish decision to reshape my eyebrows myself. This lovely product builds easily, either creating thick, lustrous lashes, or the appearance of them. This is in part due to the formula, but also the brush which is tapered allowing for easy blending, and has a precision tip for shaping.

The product comes in two shades, and is the winner of numerous awards includng the 2013 Allure Best of Beauty. It's water resistant, so ideal for the beach, and also long-wearing, making it ideal for long stints on the road or in an aircraft. Best of all, however, is the natural finish, turning spindly eyebrows in to perfectly groomed ones in a flash. And it comes in a small tube which is easy to slip into a purse or bag, ideal for the savvy female traveller. Gimme Brow costs $32 and is available from various outlets including Myer.

I recently came across a new gadget called tic® which could be a godsend for many travellers....

Ah, travelling by plane….there's nothing quite like a long trawl flight - sorry that should read long haul - to put your body through it's paces.

I've written about shaving before in this blog as it's something which affects most of us, particularly men.....

It's only ever happened to me once in all my travels, touch wood, but if it's happened to you, you already know that losing your luggage can be a major inconvenience....

As most people who know me know, I don't "do" the sun......

You're booked on a long flight, you're sitting in economy, and you don't want to arrive looking, and feeling, a mess. So what can you do?

With cruise holidays hitting headlines again this week, I felt compelled to write about what appears to be the loss.....

Thanks to a brush with skin cancer a decade ago, I don't "do" the sun these days.....

As the weather grows milder - okay, so we didn't really have much of a winter..........
