BEAUTY PRODUCT OF THE WEEK - Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Smoothing Glaze

by Joanna Hall

My hair used to be poker straight until a few years ago, but kinks, or hair frizz, is yet another part of the ageing process, so they tell me. Mostly my hair is well behaved, but when its super-humid or if I get caught in the rain, it's quite another story.

I find my hair can be difficult to tame when I travel especially. It goes into shock mode, from the effects of the sucked dry air on long haul flights, to climate changes from travelling in tropical or high humidity destinations.

I've tried a few anti-frizz products to keep my hair looking its best, but have found many to be heavy or sticky in the hair, or they don't do much else. Then I was introduced to Ojon's Damage Reverse Restorative Smoothing Glaze by a learned and well-travelled friend, and it really made a difference.

There are several versions of this product, a universal one for all hair colours, and ones for brown, blonde or red coloured hair. All of them do the same job at the end of the day. They control frizz and give your hair a high gloss shine, bringing out its true colour, thanks to the secret ingredient of Ojon oil.

The versions for coloured hair, however, also contain special ingredients to specifically target your hair colour to enhance it; Reishi Mushroom for brown hair, mangosteen fruit for blonde, and a red algae called Japanese Astaanthin for red. You use each version the same way; all you do is distribute a small amount through damp hair, then dry and style as you wish.

If you want to beat the frizz, this is a great product to try. It's not inexpensive, but a little goes a long way, and not only are you helping your hair to look its best, you are treating it to prevent any future damage. Love that hair!
