Who We Are and What We Do

Joanna Hall

Joanna has almost 30 years of experience in the publishing industry both in the UK and Australia. She is a cruise and luxury travel specialist, and also widely published as a health and lifestyle writer. Joanna still contributes to magazines, newspapers and websites; she is also the author of the health and lifestyle book, Forty and Still Fabulous, and co-author with Ben of the luxury coffee table book Cruising (New Holland Publishing). She brings a variety of skills to UltimateTravelMagazine.com, including writing, editing, and marketing, and her roles include publisher, co-editor, and chief writer.  

Ben Hall

Ben is a photo-journalist and television producer of more than 26 years in Australia and Europe. He also contributes to a variety of magazines and newspapers as a writer and photographer, and also actively works for television networks globally; he is also co-author and chief photographer of the luxury coffee table book, Cruising (New Holland Publishing). Ben is largely responsible for the creative direction of Ultimate Travel, and brings skills including writing, photography and design to the magazine. His roles include chief photographer, co-editor and chief writer.
 
Between them, Joanna and Ben have travelled to more countries than they can recall, and they've captured some of the world's most popular and memorable destinations and experiences. It is their intention to share them with a wide audience, and ultimately inspire people to travel.
